Documentary art photography and site-specific editions that explore atmosphere, community, connectivity, and terrain.

Interior and exterior spaces, the objects that populate both, and traces of the handmade and evidence of environmental resilience are intrinsic to this documentation.

Abigail’s photographic coursework has included media studies at Purchase College/SUNY (New York), documentary storytelling workshops with Alec Soth and Cristina de Middel at Magnum Photos, and professional studies at the International Center of Photography in NYC.

Past work as a researcher for documentary films and photo publications has contributed to narrative and technical development. Her travels have included Bhutan, Nepal, India, the Chihuahuan Desert, Mexico, the Hopi Nation and the American Southwest, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Serbia, Southeast Asia, Turkey, and remote locales worldwide.

Current project: An upcoming photographic memoir, The Other Upstate, currently in progress.
